García-Abril invited at DIA

Antón García-Abril has been invited to participate in an event at Dessau Institute of Architecture (DIA), where Master level students will review their work to end the semester. The session, which has been arranged by Prof. Chermayeff, will be on the 26th January. We are wishing that the students’ projects amaze us!
 

García-Abril lecturer in Helsinki

The Concrete Award 2010 – Seminar and Conference, organized by Betoni to promote the benefits of using concrete as an architectural material and in recognition of achievements in concrete design in the past year, will be held on the 27th January in Espoo, Finland. At the conference, Antón García-Abril will appear as key speaker, giving a talk entitled “Dense Structures - Stressed Structures” between 4.30 – 6.00 p.m.

Beginning of term at MIT

This spring term, Antón García-Abril and Débora Mesa, will teach a design studio at MIT Boston. The students will be working on sports facilities for the Winter Olympic Games 2022 at Harbin, in collaboration with HIT. We are waiting expectantly for the course to start and learn about the students’ proposals!
