HAI-TECH for Japan

26/07/2011

Picturing "Home-for-All" is an appeal launched by Toyo Ito, Riken Yamamoto, Hiroshi Naito, Kengo Kuma and Kazuyo Sejima to the international community of designers in order to stress the importance of the architecture for emergency and rescue.

Architects and designers are asked to plan a basic structure, an aggregation and sociality centre, thinking of places such those of the earthquake and tsunami devastating the Northeast of Japan on 11th March last. A structure featuring a physical mediation between the primary reception centres and the temporary dwellings.
