RIBA International Fellowships Awards: Antón García-Abril

The RIBA Council has announced eight new International Fellowships of the RIBA. Antón García-Abril has received his RIBA 2013 International Fellowship award, this lifetime honor allows him to to use the initials Int FRIBA after his name. RIBA International Fellowships reward the particular contributions that non-UK architects have made to architecture.

The Foundation Iakov Chernikhov has announced the opening of its "III International Iakov Chernikhov Prize in the field of Conceptual Architecture". Antón García-Abril & Ensamble Studio has been nominated for this year's edition.

García-Abril wins RDA
15/04/2009
Antón García-Abril wins the american Rice Design Alliance Prize for Emerging Architects. The award, annually given, was created by RDA to recognize the talent of young architects. The jury recognized the work of García-Abril advanced architecture and a personal language that places him on the top of contemporary architectural scene. The architect formally received the award during a ceremony held at the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston.
