2012 Architect of the Year: Gentleman España Magazine

Gentleman España Magazine has chosen in it 2012 December's magazine Antón García-Abril as Architect of the Year in Spain. "Spain is suffering a huge economic crisis, but not a creativity's crisis. While construction colapses and a lot of architects lost their jobs, doors are open for them to go to other countries and show their talent."

Ensamble's MZRRD10 in 'a+u'

The prestigious magazine ‘a+u’ has published its volume 486, which is given over to the analysis of 50 architects’ offices. Ensamble Studio is among them, and Antón García-Abril was interviewed to draw the main concepts of Ensamble’s working space. Hemeroscopium House in 'The New York Times'

The real-estate section of the newspaper 'The New York Times' offers today a large article on the House Hemeroscopium and focuses on how the architect of this work, Antón García-Abril, built the house from three giant concret I-beams, two concret segments of an irrigation canal and two steel girders, all anchored by a 20-ton granite slab.
